Many years ago, a British-built Honda Civic Type-R hit the streets, and drivers everywhere loved it. From the company's home base in Japan to the United States, Type-R has become a trim level of its very own.
The Type-R is only produced at Honda's Swindon site in the UK. The engine is coming under some fire overseas - it will be discontinued in most of Europe after this year, as it does not meet new, stricter emissions standards.
