Every year, the J.D. Power and Associates Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study surveys people who have purchased a new model-year vehicle, following 90 days of ownership. The APEAL study identifies the features that people find most appealing about their new vehicles, assessing satisfaction with about 100 vehicle attributes (i.e., riding and handling and comfort and convenience). The study named the Honda Fit the winner in the Subcompact Car category in 2010.
