Many highways and roads throughout Japan were so badly damaged from the March 11 earthquake and tsunami that they had to be immediately closed. But after learning that an employee had perished when a cafeteria wall collapsed on him; and 17 other workers were injured in a building at the company's Tochigi facility; Honda CEO, Takanobu Ito, was determined to get there fast.
